At Christ The King Church, we believe the Church is at the center of God’s work in history and the source of life for the world around us.

“Proclaiming the King of kings and Lord of lords…”

Christ the King Church in Greenville is a mission work that loves biblical liturgical worship, seeks genuine community, focuses on discipleship, and looks to partner with other faithful churches in the Greenville area. We believe that families should worship God together, where even little children praise Him together with their families in the sanctuary.

Biblical Worship: Our worship is thoroughly rooted in Scripture. In the Bible, God has provided us with a pattern for Lord’s Day worship. In addition, we seek to have a liturgical rhythm which is rich and vibrant. Through worship, God forms His Church for renewing the world.

Genuine Community: We think the members of a Church ought to spend time together. We feast and sing and pray. We want an environment that fosters sincerity and trust; and that shows hospitality to build up the local Church as well as reach out to our neighbors.

Focused Discipleship: We want our lives to be saturated with Scripture so that we are shaped by the whole of God’s Word. We want to sing the Psalms (all of them!). We aim to disciple our children and prepare them to advance the Kingdom of Christ. Each member of Christ’s Church has been equipped by God for specific tasks to glorify Him.

Unreservedly Ecumenical: We seek to cooperate with other faithful local congregations across denominations. We want to be united in serving our community, Christian fellowship, and standing for God’s truth.

Weekly Communion

The supper belongs to all Christians, not just Christ the King Church, and so we invite all members of God’s family to partake with us, as the one body of Christ. If you are a baptized Christian, and not under church discipline—come and feast, celebrating Christ’s victory over sin, death, and Satan. As heirs of the covenant, baptized children are included in the meal of the Church and welcomed to the Lord’s Table (paedocommunion).
