We are a Reformed Covenantal church simply means we believe God is sovereign in all things (even salvation) and that He deals with His people through covenant relationships. This covenantal framework is expounded in our doctrinal statements (the Westminster Confession of Faith of 1646, the Westminster Larger Catechism and the Westminster Shorter Catechism). Subordinate to Scripture, the Confession and Catechisms comprise a solid body of theology in compact form we can use to ensure we are ready to give a reason for the hope that is in us (1 Peter 3:15). They clearly and concisely summarize the faith of our church fathers and, in our current era of doctrinal redefinition, are needed now more than ever.
We are a grounded body of believers joined together by a sincere desire to return to the solid doctrine of the Protestant Reformation.
From the Reformation emerged the "5 Solae", which lay down the foundation of our church's beliefs:
Sola Scriptura (by Scripture alone)

Sola Fide (by faith alone)
Sola Gratia (by grace alone)
Solus Christus (through Christ alone)
Soli Deo Gloria (glory to God alone).

We, at GCF, are committed to selfless service for the glory of God. We are 100% volunteer based; no one receives a salary or receives any proceeds from the congregation. All proceeds go to support our ministries, our facilities, and our activities.
