Grace Fellowship Baptist Church began in 2003 on the primacy of preaching and sufficiency of the Word of God to meet the changing needs of God’s people. Children are encouraged to be with their parents to learn the fear of God together. Family worship is encouraged at home to help children prepare for the Sunday service. We have a meal every week and the Lord’s Supper every 3rd Sunday. All households are welcome, even if it is a household of one. Our goal is to bring the whole household together for the teaching of God’s Word. We invite singles, couples with or without children, and the precious elderly as well. Our greatest desire is to make Christ known and in making Christ known, lives will be changed.

In addition to our Sunday Morning gatherings, we have weekly Monday night meetings. This meeting is to train our young adults. Parents are welcome to come. This meeting is at a local restaurant part of the year, and the other part of the year you will find us doing outreach.

The following meetings are once a month:

Leadership Practicum:

This is for training the next generation of elders and deacons.

Men’s meetings (various locations):

The focus of this time is to strengthen the men which, in turn, will strengthen the households. Furthermore, we include our sons in the sermon based discipleship to prepare them for their role as a loving leader of their home someday.

Ladies’ prayer time:

This gives our ladies a time around God’s Word, prayer, and mutual encouragement.

Whole Household Discipleship:

Right now we are studying the book of Romans as a church body.

In addition to this work, we are working directly with another church in Plains and are seeking opportunities to help develop other age-integrated, Gospel driven churches. We are seeking to become a New Testament Church that has a multiplying ministry. We desire to be a “church planting” church for God’s glory. (2 Tim. 2:2)—a sending church to advance the glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our goal is to update our website weekly—please take a look each week for any changes. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
