I. Who We Are

Frontline Community Church is a gathering of families dedicated to being on the frontline in the spiritual battle for:

  1. The Bible’s truth and authority in every area of life

  2. Our children’s souls and their character

  3. People’s souls and character in our own community and throughout the world

  4. The family’s sanctity

  5. Men’s responsibility to lead their families

  6. Parents’ responsibility to train their children

  7. The church functioning as Jesus intended

 II. Our Doctrine

  1. The Bible is the only complete Word of God, throughout, without error.

  2. The God of the Bible is the only true God.

  3. God is sovereign over everything.

  4. God is One. He exists in three persons – the Father, Jesus Christ (the Son), and the Holy Spirit.

  5. People are naturally separated from God by sin.

  6. God saved His people from sin and restored His relationship with them by putting His only Son, Jesus Christ, to death on the cross and raising Him from the dead to bear the penalty for sin and to restore His favor.

  7. God saves people by His undeserved mercy and through faith alone.

  8. God uses the same power that converts a person to faith in Christ Jesus to guard the believer throughout his life.

  9. The church is the group of saved, but still quite imperfect sinners that God equips to further His spiritual kingdom on Earth.

10. God created the universe and everything in it in six, literal, 24-hour days, about 6,000 years ago.

11. Jesus will return physically to Earth.

III. Our Practice

  1. We meet in member families' homes. Please call to get the location for this week's meeting.

2We expect each man to participate in the weekly church meetings on a regular basis by reading Scripture, teaching, praying, or suggesting a hymn. Ladies remain silent during the meeting.

  3. We set church policy and make decisions through elder-led, church consensus.

  4. We baptize believers by immersion.

  5. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper as part of a full meal.

  6. We commit ourselves to “walk worthy of the calling with which [we] were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” (Ephesians 4:1-3) We further commit ourselves “to speak evil of no one.” (Titus 3:2) We resolve conflicts and apply church discipline according to the procedure Jesus provided in Matthew 18:15-17.

  7. We select leaders from within the church based on scriptural qualifications.

  8. We encourage each family to give money directly to Christian missionaries and organizations. The church collects money only for specific projects (such as supporting a guest speaker or a qualified widow) and with complete anonymity.

  9. While a family may choose to honor a church leader with a gift, we do not pay our leaders a salary.

10. We sing hymns and psalms to melodious music.

11. We plan to multiply by starting small churches that meet in houses.

12. Dress is modest and casual. Men wear slacks or jeans and shirts with collars. Ladies wear dresses or skirts/blouses.
