With the Knowing God conference just around the corner, we want to open up a new way for you to attend the conference – streaming from the comfort of your own home (or church!).

We are offering a pay-what-you-can deal to anyone who would like to stream the event. 

We’ve recruited Ash Noah to serve as emcee and usher you through the weekend, and we’ll be broadcasting sessions live.

We also have an exciting addition to the live stream schedule this year! Because of travel constraints, You will get a bonus message from Pooyan Mehrshahi who will join us for an online-only message on Friday afternoon. He will be bringing a message on the life of Hannah entitled “A Woman’s Legacy”.

God’s choicest and most useful people are often those in difficulties, discouragements, and desperate circumstances. Yet, such people must invest carefully in personal and practical faith in the sovereign God and His promises. In the life of Hannah, we see a legacy being forged, and a future for the glory of God invested in. She had a closed womb, but God opened her womb and her heart for the birth of a prophet in a wicked age. There is a word for childless parents, as well as those who are to be parents. There is a legacy and a work to leave behind for the cause of God and truth. What will that be? What hindrances abound in our lives that God’s grace must conquer? Hannah’s picture in 1 Samuel chapter 1 gives us some insight. 

Each speaker has been given a character in the Bible, along with the task of showing how knowing God impacted that character’s life.

Do you want to increase your understanding of God? Join us as we focus on the experiential knowledge of God and His attributes.

We have tasked each speaker with delving into a biblical personality. For example, how did Moses, Rahab, Jonah, Elijah, Mary, John, Jeremiah, Joshua, or Joseph know their God? They will be using these Biblical characters to illustrate the doctrines and the experiences of knowing God personally. 

We will be answering questions like:

• What did this person know about God? 
• What attributes of God was this person confronted with? 
• Which of His attributes was God teaching this person? 
• What were the manifestations of His knowledge of God? 
• How did God shape their lives?
• How does knowing God Himself change our everyday lives? 

Why are we doing this? Because it says in Daniel 11:32, “…the people who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits.”

We want this to be an exceedingly practical conference to help you see what it meant for men and women to know their God. You will see this Biblical character’s relationship with God. 

We will explain what it means to know God personally. We pray that all who attend this conference will leave knowing more about God and thirsting to know Him still more. We hope that all hearers will leave saying, “I want to know God like that,” or, “I want to know Him like never before,” and even, “Do I even know God?”

 A People Who Know Their God

You will learn what does it mean to be “increasing in the knowledge of God” (Col. 1:10). Knowing God is an eternal pursuit; at this event, we will begin to consider this and more and just start to scratch the surface of knowing and delighting in an infinite God.

One of the historic confessions of faith describes the loftiness of this subject:

“The Lord our God is but one only living and true God; whose subsistence is in and of himself, infinite in being and perfection; whose essence cannot be comprehended by any but himself; a most pure spirit, invisible, without body, parts, or passions, who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; who is immutable, immense, eternal, incomprehensible, almighty, every way infinite, most holy, most wise, most free, most absolute; working all things according to the counsel of his own immutable and most righteous will for his own glory; most loving, gracious, merciful, long-suffering, abundant in goodness and truth, forgiving iniquity, transgression, and sin; the rewarder of them that diligently seek him, and withal most just and terrible in his judgments, hating all sin, and who will by no means clear the guilty.” – Second London Baptist Confession of 1689, Chapter 2, Paragraph 1.

Knowing this God is so much more than a dry paper exercise – it is drinking deeply from a refreshing, endless stream of living water. Across the weekend, Knowing God will provide an opportunity to examine a wide range of topics, from deep dives into the attributes of God. We are providing many practical sessions on seeking God through the ordinary means of grace.
