Jeremiah could not keep God’s word bottled up: “. . . His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not” (Jer. 20:9).

Burnings in the Soul is a platform for men with fire in their bones who won’t hold back. With this in view, Church and Family Life invites you to the Burnings in the Soul Luncheon, a 3-hour gathering where eight men will declare the truths God has stirred in them.

This special time of fellowship and encouragement will be held from 12:30-4 p.m. on Thursday, May 7th, in Ridgecrest, North Carolina, just prior to the Manhood and Womanhood conference.

If you’ve signed up to attend the Holiness to the Lord or Shepherding the Flock of God event, this luncheon is included in your registration. It is not, however, included in the Manhood and Womanhood attendance pass and requires a separate $50 registration fee per person.

We will begin our time together with a delicious lunch before hearing poignant messages from eight of our speakers

As we prepare to hear from these men, we remember David’s cry: “My heart was hot within me; While I was musing, the fire burned. Then I spoke with my tongue” (Ps. 39:3).

We hope to see you at Ridgecrest for this special gathering!
