To thrive, it must be carefully tended, like a garden. This is no small task in today’s increasingly pagan culture. Yet rather than cower in fear, Christians must advance in hope by tending to the garden of their families—as Jeremiah encouraged God’s people who were captives in Babylon:
Build houses and dwell in them; plant gardens and eat their fruit. Take wives and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, so that they may bear sons and daughters—that you may be increased there, and not diminished. (Jer. 29:5-6)
Whether in prosperity or peril, the culture of family life should be built to flourish. Join us next April as we proclaim this hopeful vision!
