Jeremiah could not keep God’s word bottled up: “. . . His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not” (Jer. 20:9).
Burnings in the Soul is a platform for men with fire in their bones who won’t hold back. With this in view, Church and Family Life invites you to the Burnings in the Soul Luncheon, a 3-hour gathering where men will declare the truths God has stirred in them.
This special time of fellowship and encouragement will be held on Thursday, October 28th, in Ridgecrest, North Carolina, just prior to the evening sessions of the Inspiring the Quiet Faithful Christian Life conference.
It is not included in the main conference attendance pass and requires a separate $50 registration fee per person.
We will begin our time together with a delicious lunch before hearing poignant messages from our speakers.
As we prepare to hear from these men, we remember David’s cry: “My heart was hot within me; While I was musing, the fire burned. Then I spoke with my tongue” (Ps. 39:3).
