At FBC Bagdad we believe that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) and that “the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23). “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

In these few short verses are a summary of God’s great plan to bring salvation to us. Because of the great, free gift that He has given to us, we gather together for the purpose of worshiping Him and taking his Word to all who will hear it.
