Right before our eyes, the atheistic revolutionaries are making significant headway. How are they doing it? What are their techniques? Our guest, Curtis Bowers has spent the last few decades studying the answers to these questions. On this broadcast Curtis Bowers, producer of, “Agenda: Grinding America Down and AGENDA 2: Masters of Deceit will explain what techniques the left is implementing in order to deconstruct society and remake it after their image.

Hey, welcome to the Church and Family Life podcast. Let me tell you a couple of things real quick before we get going. Hope you can come to our Theology of the Family Conference at Ridgecrest, North Carolina, May 20 through 23. Just Before that, a singles conference called Holiness to the Lord, May 19 and 20. Also, go to our website.

We have lots of resources, over 5,000. Churchandfamilylife.com. Also, I just published a book called The Family at Church, How Parents Are Tour Guides for Joy. I think this book could really help sweeten your local church experience. Okay, let's get on now with the podcast.

Welcome to the Church and Family Life podcast. Church and Family Life exists to proclaim the sufficiency of scripture for the Reformation of the Church and family. Jason Dobe, thank you for being with us today to do this interview. Here we are again. Okay, here we are again.

And we have Curtis Bowers with us. Curtis, hello. Hello, thanks for having me again. Yes, Curtis, you've been crisscrossing the country proclaiming the news of freedom and exposing the chains that are been wrapping around our land and we're really grateful for your work. You have made some very important films over the years, Agenda and Agenda Two, and you're just continuing to try to expose the encroachments of socialism and the roots in our land.

And so really grateful for that. What what we'd like you to do with us today is to talk about the strategies. The people that are attempting to overthrow freedom in America have had a strategy for a long time. And what we'd like you to do is sort of pull back the curtain And help us to understand what is going on behind the scenes and how to detect these kinds of freedom killing philosophies and freedom killing actions that are happening all around us in a breathtaking way. So we're just gonna cut you loose.

So what are the strategies? Okay, well thank you. It's important to understand the enemy. Like the old book, The Art of War, from 2,500 years ago said, you have to know the enemy and you have to know yourself if you want to win the battle otherwise you will not and so we've kind of been lulled to sleep the dominant philosophy in the world today is Marxism That's what's being accepted worldwide, not just in America, it's all over. Well, a lot of people, that doesn't mean anything to them.

What's Marxism? But Marxism, of course, is the philosophies of Karl Marx. And what it was focused on is getting people to think about the good of the many and to believe the concept that the good of the many outweighs the good of the few. Now it doesn't sound too bad except every time it's been practiced from the top down it abuses the very people it's supposed to bless. And it's done nothing but that in world history.

And, but the problem with that philosophy, and that's the core philosophy, when they get us to start talking about the good of the many, We gotta do what's best for the many. When that happens, two key things happen in their strategy. One is, then anyone that's not in the majority, the minorities, the fringe groups, they don't matter. They get left behind, And we don't want that. And secondly, it's when you're making a decision based on what's the best for the good of the many, especially if you're talking worldwide, how in the world would you live there in North Carolina, Scott, or how would I know in Alabama where I live, what's best for the world?

It makes you be a sitting duck to whatever they say because you're like, well, I'm not sure for us, this would be best, but I don't know what's best for Africa or Asia or Russia. And so it puts you in a position where you have to trust them. Well, that's not good. Our founders knew you cannot trust man because like the Bible says, we're naturally evil. Unless we've been regenerated, our focus is self.

Our focus is doing anything we can do that's gonna help ourself at the cost of anything or anyone. We don't care, cause we're just selfish to the core. Well, our founders realized that. So they said, no, we're gonna base everything in America. I mean, the declaration, our founding document, the constitution, it's about doing the opposite of what the Marxists want to do.

It's about you don't worry about the collective at all. All you worry about is each individual person because they're made in the image of God and their value is priceless. And they knew if you focus on the individual the collective is going to be just fine. We want each individual person to be free to speak and to go to church and worship God the way they want to and defend themselves and on all the things. They were about the individual and the Marxists have tried to get us off of the individual.

So then we can maybe take some rights away from some groups if we want to, if it'll help us in our agenda and talk about the collective. And then they get a defined for us what the collective is. So that's kind of the overarching philosophy there, which is key. So there are tactics that are involved in getting a population to think that way, to accept that proposition. What kinds of tactics are being used?

Right now, specifically, we just had an election And the Democrats the last couple of times have said, you know, it's not fair when whoever got the most votes doesn't get elected sometimes, you know, because of the electoral college. They want us to believe we have a democracy, which we do not have. We have a constitutional republic. In a democracy, whatever 51% say, that's what goes. And we don't have that.

Our founders said it's one of the most dangerous governments of all. And we didn't want to have that. But they're convincing people of that. Because then when you can make people believe, where we have a democracy, they then necessarily will believe, oh, I guess the majority rule, the 51%. So what's best for the majority is what we'll be pursuing.

And so, but our founders again, that's not what we have. We have a constitutional republic that is based on laws and every man is accountable to the law And there's parameters on a government. See, in our republic that we have, if 95% of the people in America said, we want guns to be outlawed, they cannot do it. Cause it's one of the God given rights that have been explained in the constitution of, hey, these are rights that can't be infringed because they're from God Almighty. And so in a republic, you cannot get rid of the guns if it's 99% that want to, because we've already specified, no, no, that's a God given right.

And the law, the land says it cannot be infringed. But if you convince people you live in a democracy, then when 51% say, I don't think guns should be allowed, they kill people and they're so dangerous, then they can do it. If people believe that, even though they can't do that. And So that, but the democracy debate is how they're getting people to start thinking in terms of the collective. It's the majority, the majority rules, but a tyranny of the majority is just as evil of a tear as a tyranny of the minority or of one.

There's no difference. You can be just as much abuse going on if the majority is controlling the minority or if it's one dictator controlling everybody else. And that's what people don't seem to understand. So Curtis, in terms of tactics, Is there a playbook they're working off of? If so, what is it?

And is it a secret playbook? Or can we know what it is so we can counteract it? Yes, you can. It's Rules for Radicals written by Saul Linsky. He kind of took all the writings of Vladimir Lenin, who was the founder of the Soviet Union.

He's really the brains of the whole Marxist worldview. He was incredible, brilliant at strategy and deception. And so, but he repackaged those writings and Antonio Gramsci, who was very clever on how to take down a Christian culture from within. He took all those and put them into the book Rules for Radicals. And I'll just go through a few of these principles with you and you'll go, yeah, that's what they're doing today, because It's what they always do.

This is their playbook. So if you read that book and take notes, you'll go, Oh, now I understand the enemy, not only who they are, but what they're trying to accomplish and how they're trying to accomplish it. The book it's, it's pretty open. It's pretty obvious where it's coming from. At the very beginning, it's dedicated to Lucifer.

That tells you everything you need to know because it's straight from hell. It is straight from hell. The whole theme of the book is this. Power in hell is preferable to service in heaven. That's really the bottom line of the book.

We want power at all costs. I'd rather be a leader in hell than to have to serve someone in heaven. That's the book. And that's the evil mind, satanic mind that came up with this. It's a Marxist strip playbook.

Here's a couple of quotes that help you understand things. Radicals must be resilient, adaptable to shifting political circumstances, and sensitive enough to the process of action and reaction to avoid being trapped by their own tactics. So they're always 10 steps past us. That's why they win on everything. They plan everything just of the election we had.

Of course they wanted Biden to win, but they always plan if what they want doesn't happen either. They plan everything to be a win-win. So they did everything they could to get Biden in there. If they're able to get him in there, then they won. Cause they got a guy that'll push the global agenda, the anti-American agenda, and they love it.

But they go, hey, we might try for that, but if somehow Trump's able to pull it off, how can we win in that circumstance? And the way they set up the circumstances to win in that is they had the polls all ahead of time, say, oh, Biden's going to kill him. Biden's going to win in the landslide. So they would be able to fuel the opposition to Trump. If he got in there by saying he stole the election, that's another key Marxist strategy.

Lennon said that always accuse your enemy of doing what you're doing. So you always put it on them. So they're gonna, oh, voter fraud. Trump stole the election. If he's somehow able to pull this out and justice is able to expose the fraud, they will have the energy then for the revolution they've wanted because they'll be able to turn the whole thing around.

Oh, the polls told us Biden was winning. Everything was in his favor. Trump is a dictator. He stole the White House. And you will see if that were to happen.

The revolution that will happen. I just know these people and they have money now. They used not to, but Black Lives Matter has literally gotten billions of dollars in donations since this summer, billions from corporate America. Walmart gave them a hundred million dollars. So Bank of America gave him one billion dollar donation So so they have money now and they don't waste their money on anything except the revolution The like we've talked about before the issue is never the issue.

The issue is always the revolution So that's one of their strategies in there is to always be planning ahead. Don't get trapped in your own games. Keep hitting the enemy with so much, they can't even get their head up for a breath of air. You're just, you're hitting them with this and hitting them with that. He also, one key thing Alinsky did for the revolution, he said, I'm going to separate the revolution from communism so they don't know that's where we're taking them.

So even for the people helping him, it's a communist revolution, but I'm going to detach it from that act like it's not a communist revolution. So they don't know where we're really going. And that's, that's a key thing he's done. Half of the useful idiots out there, I don't think they understand they're working for a communist revolution. Well, they, they will be a little cog in the communist machine and totally controlled and totally used by the people.

So what's an illustration of, of that taking the communism out of the revolution by right here. He talks about a little bit more here, by making all of your arguments moral. He said, we are always pure white of morality. And the other side is the pitch blackness of evil and being immoral. So you always paint yourself as the most moral, caring, upright people.

That's how you paint whatever your movement is. And anyone against you, they are evil, they're hateful. How could they be so racist? How could they be so horrible? So that's by using pulling the morality.

So they're acting like they're standing on the high ground. When Lenin did his revolution in Russia, they didn't act like any ground, they just kill the people that oppose us. And but he said, Okay, we need to act like noted that we're doing something right and good. So we can pull all the useful idiots to this cause because it sounds noble. So that's one of the key things they do.

They paint all the movements to look like it's righteous. It's right. What's right. It's for justice. Is that, is, is, is an ill, a good illustration of this, what ha what happened in Zimbabwe when Mugabe, you know, you know, righteously was going to return the lands to, you know, to the natives, which actually ended up, you know, killing the landowners, destroying farming in the entire country, bring the economy to its knees, destroy it, completely destroying it.

But it was all under the roost of a, of a moral return of property. That's right. No, in South Africa, the same thing's happening right now. They took it back over. It's no work for the black people.

They're abusing the black people. They're stealing property from people. Venezuela is the same thing. It was one of the richest countries in the world 30, 40 years ago. And they came in, oh, let's make things fair.

Everyone's sunk down to the lowest level. But that's what they do. He said, quote this, the opposition's means, so whatever we do, used against us, are always immoral. And our means are always ethical and rooted in the highest human values. So that's a quote from him.

So whatever we are doing, it's so immoral and whatever they're doing, it's nothing but a loving heart, a Christian service to one another, to stand for justice and righteousness. And so that's but that's how they suck in. Like we were talking before the show, you said the couple from Romania, you know, you were talking to They go, why do Americans just follow with others being told they, they just do what they're told. It's, it's a purposefulness. And those type of people, you can use emotion to get them to do whatever you want them to do.

How would you describe or what are, what are manifestations of this new, this new morality that is driving this revolution? Well, like social justice, it's what's taking over the church. They're using Christian terminology to sell Marxism to the church, knowing the church, most of them are biblically illiterate. So if we just talk about Jesus and loving your neighbor, we can put anything in the paragraph with those things and they'll just take it hook, line, and sinker. I mean, it's what's happening to the church in America today.

It's devastating. They're following these pied pipers, these Marxist people that hate God, hate the Bible, hate everything that is right, but they know, oh, to the church, we gotta, well, Jesus was for helping the poor. They're gonna use Jesus who they don't believe in if they can manipulate Christians with it. They're going to talk about climate or creation care, even though they don't believe in creation and how God did things. But if that'll suck in some Christians, we'll use that term creation care.

So it's just it's a marketing scheme. And they realize what we have realized, Scott, the church has been so unprepared for a real battle in a real spiritual war, like Ephesians six talks about. That's why what you've been doing, you've been doing. We got to wake the church. We got to keep our children on our side.

We got to stand for truth. Our children need to know Genesis to Revelation or they're in trouble because it's a world of lies out there. And like the old saying goes, every story sounds true until you hear the other side. And we haven't been speaking the other side like we should. And so that's all this is, is a battle for righteousness.

Those of you listening, it's to prepare your children to understand the times by understanding the Bible and how it fits into everyday life. And so when these people talk about what is good, we have a definition of what is good and what is not good. We have a definition of what's moral and what's not moral. We have to call them out and say, you have no authority to use the word moral. Only God can define what is moral or not moral.

Like only God can define marriage, what it is and what it is not. And we have to stand up for his principles, because that's what we're here to do, against these lies and let people see, no, just because something sounds good does not mean it is good. And that's what this whole thing is. Curtis, if you haven't been exposed to this playbook, you're just an average person. You're watching the news.

You're watching small businesses burn in downtown Portland. You think, wow, that people are really disturbed about the events of the day. This burning down of downtown Portland is a reaction to circumstances. But when you actually look at what the radicals say their agenda is and the tactics they intend to use, you start to realize, if it hadn't been this set of circumstances, it would have been another one. It was an agenda looking for any circumstances that could be used to do it, which means that we're never done.

There's still an agenda looking for circumstances and it won't be a reaction to circumstances the next time a downtown burns. It'll be people with an agenda looking for any opportunity to to advance the ball. Well that's this. See the Marxist too is always waiting in the wings. Like I said, there are 10 steps down the road.

They're planning 30 years from now, right now. This is how we're gonna get here. This is, these are the steps we're gonna take. If I, I've been reading their books now for decades from the 30s, 40s, 50s, and they were talking about some of the things going on right now, they were talking about 60, 70 years ago. It took them that long to finally get it accomplished, but they did get it accomplished.

The Frankfurt School in the 1930s said, one of our top goals is to teach homosexuality to children. Well, they finally accomplished that over the last 10 years, but that was a 70 years of working hard to degrade everything and dumb down the system and throw God out of everything. So finally one day, hey, we've got a kindergarten curriculum that explains to the children what those people do. I mean, but again, it was purposeful. Ultimately, this is Satan's agenda.

But he has troops on this earth just like the Lord does too. We're the Lord's soldiers in his army standing for him and going to battle for truth. And Satan has many of these people. They're going to battle to destroy God, trying to destroy his influence, destroy the family, destroy the church, all of God's institution, destroy government. What does government exist for?

God tells us it's to punish the evil and to protect the good. I mean, That's what it's for. They wanna pervert that, where it punishes the, it comes against the people instead of protecting them. They wanna destroy everything God has done because Satan hates him. And these people might not even know what they're doing, but that's what it's about.

But these tactics, it's just, their morality is this, anything that gets you what you want is moral. That's Saul Alinsky. Anything that gets you what you want is moral. And so that's who we're up against, and we just need to know that because it's it's sobering but that's why they're they're taking such grounds and of course since they have a lot of our children on their side that's what's made them effective is the breakdown of the family the fact that they have been attacking the family for 60 years in marriage, in the church, and weaken those institutions. None of this would have happened if in 1980, the people that had voted for Ronald Reagan in a landslide, if they were to raise their children to understand America, to love America, to love God and his principles, we would have a 90% majority today.

They took our children to do this, and that's sobering. Who's burning down the buildings in our country? Our children. That's who's doing that. And so parents listening to this, the job you're doing of raising the next generation is the most important thing you can do for the kingdom of God, but also even for our country and for truth and righteousness is where we can keep multiplying through our children and stand for truth against this evil, because that is the greatest thing we can do to love our neighbor at a time like this is to stand even when they might not need, they might not know that they need to do that.

And of course, share gospel as we talked about. Curtis, we had a short pre-discussion before we started videoing. And in that, you referenced a phrase from the 70s, better dead than red. And I thought it was really interesting, your thoughts, could you sort of reproduce that? Yes, what that means, that's kind of a funny slogan, but it was real by the people that had that on their car or whatever, it meant I'd rather fight for being free and die than to be on the, to live under a communist regime.

It's what Patrick Henry said. He said, give me liberty or give me death, but I'm not gonna lay down and allow you to put chains on me and enslave me and my family and my neighbors. And so it's the old Delaware state flag live free or die. I mean those aren't little, they sound like little callus phages. They're not because many of those men did die for freedom and they did stand up as so many people in our country have for freedom of our own country and other nations.

So it's a sobering thought, but that's fathers, that's where we are today. And I truly believe it is, it would be better to die in the cause of what's right on the right side than to capitulate and be cowardly and allow evil to sweep over everyone, our own families, but also our neighbor's families because we're supposed to love our neighbor and greater love have no man than this that he laid down his life for his friends. I mean, God has set the standard at that. Jesus did it at the ultimate level, of course, because his blood covered all of our sins. And in Christians, we have to be sharing that now, and there's no better time, because people are fearful.

People don't have hope. What's gonna happen in this election? What's gonna happen with this? It's the most wonderful time. God always works in the mysterious ways, but I've found in world history, whenever things are heading in the wrong direction, the most persecuted, that's the best time to share the gospel.

Because God uses those circumspects to soften hearts. He just, that's the way he does his work. However he does that, but he softens hearts And he allows our testimony to be so powerful when we're talking calmly with hope, when it looks like there's no hope, how can you do that? Say, "'Cause I know where I'm going when I die. Even if the worst case happens, I know where I'm going because of what Jesus did." So it's a wonderful time for that.

So we can't in the midst of our own concern, stop doing what's most important right now, is living the gospel. So when we share with people, they realize Jesus does make a difference, doesn't he? You're different. And so we make him look good by our life. That's what we're here on Earth to do is to make him look good by glorifying him.

But to be doing it, because I found the more I've done that in recent days, it's much more well received. People are like, thanks for sharing that. You know, so it's the seeds, we can plant seeds right now. And who knows what God will do with those seeds, but we're commanded to do that. Wow.

Well, those, I guess those are our marching orders, right? Where there's where there are revolutionaries, there are counter revolutionaries And we carry the message of an eternal gospel for eternal life. Thank you so much, Curtis, for sharing with us and keep us informed of the things that we need to know about and we'll try to put them out there. But we're really grateful for what you're doing. Keep on doing it and help us understand what's going on.

Thank you so much. I appreciate it. We praise God for you. Okay. Thank you.
