How does Satan destroy relationships?
Mike Davenport explains in this video that we live in a world where sin has demolished relationships. Satan goes after relationships with the intent to destroy them. His main goal is to destroy the relationship between a Christian and Christ, the relationship between spouses or the relationship between children and parents.
This world is full of broken homes. Satan seeks to destroy everything that God says is good.
John 10:10 (NKJV) - "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
We live in a world that sin has demolished relationships. That's the number one thing that Satan goes after. He goes after relationships. His main goal is for the Christian to destroy the relationship with Jesus Christ. As he enters into the home, he wants to destroy the relationship of a man with his wife.
He wants to destroy the relationship of parents with their children. And he also wants to destroy the relationship of siblings, one with another. And he often goes after the oldest in terms of being able to reach the younger. And so sibling relationships are important. And we look into a world that's full of broken homes.
It's full of destroyed marriage relationships of single parents, of divorced couples, sometimes for a short span, sometimes couples that have been together for decades, Because Satan seeks to destroy everything that God says is good, everything that God puts together, God has given the dominion mandate. And in that mandate to be fruitful and to multiply and to water that garden, take care of that garden as well that God has placed into our hands, just as He placed the Garden of Eden into the hands of Adam and Eve. Thank you.
