How are strong churches built?
Rob Ventura explains in this video that strong families make strong churches. When we think of the work of the devil, the first place that he attacks is the family. Satan hates the family and wishes to destroy it. If the family can be broken, so can the church.
However, there is hope for the family. There are many God-fearing families across the world. A family that perseveres must be rooted in Scripture. No matter how bleak things get, God will always have a remnant.
Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV) - "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen."
Strong families make strong churches and the battle is on, the battle is raging. You think about the work of the devil, it's interesting to note how on the very first place he attacks is the family of Genesis chapter 3. Moreover if you jump to the New Testament and you see Paul's a wonderful treatment on spiritual warfare Ephesians 6 10 and following isn't it striking how it comes right after he talks about the family, husbands, wives, children, spiritual warfare. There's a real devil that wants to destroy our families. Make no mistake about it, he hates the family.
He hates this wonderful unit that God has put together. And This means that as Christians we need to be on guard. We need to pray extra hard. And I'm convinced that as God is saving our children and saving our spouses that we can have good in God for families. That there is hope for the family.
It's Christ himself. It's God. But going back to the foundation of a family that's going to have hope, it's got to be a family that's rooted and grounded in Holy Scripture. It's got to be a family that's hearing the Word of God at church regularly. It's got to be a family that's implementing all that they hear.
God always has a witness. He always has a witness for himself in every generation no matter how bleak things get, God will always have a remnant. So we're remnant families as it were and praise God There are multitudes, thousands of remnant families all over the world that are seeking to get these biblical perspectives about the home, husbands, wives, children, they're seeking to get these perspectives down and to implement them. May God help it to be true for all of us. And I say, think about the conference.
I invite all of you to come to the conference. We can never hear too much about the family. We need to hear about it regularly. Remember, the devil is taking away that seed from our minds every time it's taught. So let's come to the conference.
Let's learn about this wonderful unit that God Himself has put together.
