Gary Powers explains in this video that if a mother is discouraged, it is important for her to keep her eyes on Christ. Depend on Him and you will find strength and encouragement. That is the same for any person. When we are feeling discouraged with life, we can trust in the fact that He is all sufficient.
2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV) - "And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
My encouragement to them would be to keep your eyes on Christ and keep going to Christ. And to the mom that's discouraged, Can I encourage you to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and He will take care of all of these other things? To come unto Him, and His burden is light, and His yoke is easy. And come to the Lord, look to the Lord, depend upon the Lord. You'll find grace, you'll find strength in His presence.
And I think like, it doesn't matter whether you're a man or woman or child, we all need to come to the end of ourselves. We need to learn to depend upon his strength. In our weariness to recognize that unless he builds the house we labor in vain and so we are so dependent upon him and to look to him and his strength is sufficient. And he gives us what we need for the day and to keep looking to him, to lean on him, to hope in him, to trust in him because he's sufficient. And maybe We take too much on and maybe the Lord would lead you to not have so much.
Take some of the things off of your plate, but to focus on Him.
