Malamulo Chindongo explains in this video that God made Eve to be a helpmeet for Adam. Similarly, the Holy Spirit is called "The Helper." A wife is no less of a person than her husband. They each have supportive, complementary roles.

John 14:26 (NKJV) - "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."

When you think about biblical womanhood, there are many special ways in which God has created women, has gifted women. Number one, God made Eve to be a helpmate to Adam. He's given Adam tasks and then he says it's not good for man to be alone. I'll create for him a helpmate, someone suitable for him. And then he creates Eve to come alongside Adam and work with him and help him in that duty.

And so when you think about the word helper, a lot of women hear the word helper and quickly they begin to think it's a lesser duty. Think about the Holy Spirit. He's called the Helper in the Scriptures. Yet he takes that title gladly to help, to do what Jesus, to take the things that Jesus has accomplished on the cross and apply those things in our lives. To be a helper to us and the Holy Spirit takes that title gladly.

And so when women hear the role that God has given them to be helpers, to be a helpmate to their husbands, They should not take it as a lesser title because the Holy Spirit doesn't.
