Mike Davenport explains in this video that we see in Scripture examples of how fathers produced godly seed. We see their descendants after them living their lives for God as was taught in Scripture. Fathers should have a generational mindset, understanding that their choices today will impact generations to come.

Revelations 2:4-5 (NKJV) - "Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent."

Open our Bibles to Genesis 6. We find that there are sons of God that are still on the earth. These sons of God, how did they come to be with no revelation that we read of between Adam and the time of Noah? Well, it would have been this passing along of the revelation of Christ so that there was a godly seed that was extended. And then we read of Noah who pleased God.

How did he know how to please God? It would have had to have been this revelation that Adam received in the beginning that was passed down from one generation to the other faithfully. We don't read of specifics, but we do read of a godly seed. We read of Enoch who walked with God. How did he know how to walk with God?

It would have had to have been passed down faithfully from one generation to the next. That's what we read of in Scripture. This faithfulness. Psalm 78, Asaph talking about this faithfulness of passing it down one generation to the next.
