Paul Carrington explains in this video that even though countless individuals have attempted to discredit or even destroy Scripture, God's Word still stands as true. Throughout centuries, it has remained just as relevant and applicable to us today as it was thousands of years ago.

1 Peter 1:24-25 (NKJV) - "All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the word of the Lord endures forever.”

To the young person who is questioning his or her parents' faith and lifestyle and why they're doing the things they're doing or why they've built their life on the foundation of the Word of God, I would say a few things. The first thing I would say is that the Bible is the most assaulted book in the history of the world. Men have spent themselves throwing their bodies up against the Bible in an attempt to destroy it in whatever way that they can and it's still standing. It's the sure word of God and you need to be persuaded of the fact that the Bible is God's Word and it's as relevant today as it has always been because His Word never fades. Man fades, themes come up and down, there's all sorts of fads, there's all sorts of ways of thinking, but the Word of God endures forever.
