David Fry explains in this video what a parent should do if their child is questioning whether there are more than two genders. One concern he shares is that if you child has these questions, they may be negatively influenced by the world. A parent ought to understand who and what is influencing your child and bring your child back to a biblical understanding of gender.

John 17:17 (NKJV) - "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth."

So what about a parent whose child is questioning gender categories as given in the scriptures? They are male and female. And so what strikes me is that perhaps a child has been listening too much to the world. There's been too much external influence if they're saying maybe someone is male one day and female the next, gender fluidity, or they can be neither. Or many other options that the foolishness of the world is giving to us today.

And I would say that it's a matter of influence, and a parent needs to really understand who is influencing the child, what is influencing the child, Friends, the internet, social media, and so on. And so a parent really needs to drill down on that and drill down fast and make some quick decisions on how that's going to change in the child's life to try to bring that child back to a biblical understanding of male and female. The Bible is unbelievably clear about that. God is totally clear about male and female. And so, speaking to a child about the benefits and the beauties and the principle of male and female and marriage between one man and one woman.

The beauty of long marriages, the beauty of procreation. It's crucial to show that child who may be convinced otherwise that this is the beauty of God's way. And then on the other hand, the destruction of not believing that, being childless, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, all of these terrible things that happen when people do not believe in male and female as God has laid it down in the scriptures.
