Paul White explains in this video that your children can be influenced by what they spend their time with. For instance, if they have questions about gender, take them to Scripture to help them understand what God has said about this.
Genesis 1:27 (NKJV) - "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."
When it comes to questioning gender categories, that's not something that you come out of the womb wondering about. I think that's something that is so contrary to nature that there has to be a seed from the outside dropping that in the mind. So I would want to know what has put this thought into your child's mind that they're wondering what is a man and what is a woman. And then I would want to know why that child has been exposed to that. Figuring out where this has come from.
If your children are not staring at a television all day, if they're not staring at Facebook all day, If they're not spending their time, you know, out and about in the broader culture, they're not going to see...these questions are not going to come out of, you know, just out of thin air. So I would want to pinpoint where these thoughts are coming from and then again take them to the scriptures take them to Genesis this is how God created men and women it's very clear I would point them to their experience look I mean just with your eyes at physical biology men and women are clearly different there's no confusion here and and trust that the Lord will use that general revelation of their experience in the world, and also the special revelation of the Scriptures, and that He'll use that to show them that these things are not confusing. The confusion does not come from anywhere except the lies of the devil being planted from somewhere. So that would be my encouragement. Figure out the root, where this is coming from, and take them to the scriptures.
