Colossians 3:2 (NKJV) - "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth."

Family worship helps us to set our mind on the things above. We are told in Colossians, Paul tells the church there, to set your mind on the things above where Christ is and not on things of the earth. Well certainly we are in the world and the things of this world crowd our thoughts day in and day out. Whether you're having family worship in the morning to set the stage for the day, or you do it in the evening, or maybe both, it helps us to focus that attention because We are usually guided by our senses as we interact with our everyday occupations and what God's given us to do. And this is a glorious way for us as a family to say, hey, this is why we exist.

We exist for God's glory.
