What must fathers be aware of in regards to their family accessing the internet?

Jason Dohm explains in this video that fathers as heads of households are ultimately responsible for their own families. They have to decide how to lead their family in a way that is healthy. A father who allows his family to access the internet with no safeguards is acting in a very unwise manner.

Fathers must be careful to make it their business to know what is being consumed by their children and to make sure there are protections in place.

Ephesians 5:15-17 (NKJV) - "See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is."

I think my comments on the internet would be directed specifically to fathers because they're heads of households and they're responsible. That doesn't mean everyone sin in the household is their sin, but they're responsible for it. If headship doesn't mean that, I'm not sure what it means. So it means that they have to proactively look out over the landscape and decide how to lead the family in a direction that's healthy and good. A father that just brings the internet pipe, it's a pipe for things coming into your house, brings this pipe of everything from the most wonderful things to the most horrific things into the house without some sorts of safeguards, filters, checks, balances, and just doesn't know what the consumption in his house is, that father has lost his mind.

So I think my exhortation would be to fathers is to be very careful, to make it your business to know what is being consumed through that channel of content into your home and to make sure that there are protections in place. This is about loving the members of your household well. It is very unleavening to put them at high risk. And it's so easy. If you
