In many movies or TV shows for instance, parents are seen as stupid or not appreciating their children. Children are identified as people who know better than their parents and who can lie, steal, or dishonor their parents. These things are promoted as being good. Parents must be cognizant of this and use discernment when determining what influences they allow to enter their home.

Romans 12:2 (NKJV) - "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."

We must understand the philosophy behind Hollywood. It is a philosophy that goes beyond movies. It is a promotion of secularism. It is a promotion of living without God. It is a promotion of taking the benefits and the blessings that God provides, but then misusing it, abusing it.

For example, the benefit of a home. It is misused, it is abused. Parents are laughed at. Parents are seen as being stupid, not knowing what they are saying, not understanding the children, not appreciating their children, but also the children are identified as being the people who know things, who know better than the parents, who can lie to their parents, who can steal from their parents, who can dishonor their parents, who can disrespect and to reject the authority of their parents. These things are promoted as being good things.

And so Hollywood is a matter of philosophy. So it comes to the heart.
