How can the church help young people within the church to resist temptations from the world?

Anthony Mathenia explains in this video that sometimes, those within the Church are prone to stoop down to dealing with certain issues with the language and sometimes even the worldview that the world uses. We cannot do that.

If we are to have any success in battling culture and preventing the young people of our day from being overcome by modern culture, we need to have a biblical worldview and use biblical definitions of various terms, such as sin. We need to see what God has said in His Word and live accordingly.

1 John 2:15-17 (NKJV) - "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever."

I think oftentimes because of the way that our culture approaches certain topics and certain issues, Too many times the church and people in the church are prone to stoop down to dealing with certain issues using terminology and definitions and world view even, unfortunately, that the world and the culture is using. But we can't do that. If we're going to have any success with regard to the battle of the culture and winning the young people of our day, keeping them from being overcome by the culture, We have to have a biblical worldview. We have to have biblical definitions of what sin is and recognize what our responsibilities are as men and women. Here on this earth, we have to see what God has said in His Word and we have to live accordingly.
