What should parents consider when giving their children access to the internet via a smartphone or computer?

Anthony Mathenia explains in this video that a family can be significantly influenced by the internet for better or for worse. There must be a way to prevent ungodly content from infiltrating our home.

We are sinners and are prone to sinning so we must be proactive and do all we can to ensure that we rid our homes of content that would defile and pollute a person.

Matthew 6:22-23 (NKJV) - "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!"

Because of our culture and the extreme way that they are attempting to infiltrate our homes, particularly through the web, it is absolutely necessary that we prevent any type of unwanted content from making it into our homes or onto our devices. If we're connected to the outside world via the internet, then there has to be a way to prevent the, whether it's the government or whether it's just advertisements for movies, for stuff, for drugs, for sex. All of these things the world is attempting to infiltrate not just Christian homes but every home. But we're definitely a target as well and because we're sinners we are prone to fall in that way So we have to be proactive and guard against it and take full advantage of keeping those types of things out of our homes and off our devices.
