How are Christian families to deal with worldliness in today's society?

Kevin Swanson explains in this video that public schools are increasingly encouraging a rejection of God's law. How are Christians to raise their children to love God and His ways and teach their children God's Word throughout the day?

Thankfully, there are alternatives to sending our children to public schools. Christian families can choose to educate their children at home and teach their children the ways of the Lord.

James 1:26-27 (NKJV) - "If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world."

Public schools are more than ever expressing the importance of personal sexual autonomy. Children can choose their own gender, they can choose their own form of sexuality, and this is massive, massive autonomy and a rejection of God's law at the ultimate degree. They're encouraging five and six and seven year olds to do this. So this is where our nation is today. As Christians, we simply reject what the government is doing and encouraging us to do.

And we teach our children God's word as we sit in the house, as we walk by the waves, we rise up and we lie down. Thankfully, the Lord has provided us islands of freedom, islands of culture, apart from these systems. We don't need to send our children off to systems that will give them the wrong worldview. And we can exempt ourselves from the medical systems that allow for the wholesale use of contraceptive abortive patients and the funding of these things. We don't need to pay for the killing of hundreds and thousands and millions of babies each year.

We can exempt ourselves from these things through the Christian Medical Sharing Ministry. So Christians can, they have a legal right. God has provided us freedom and liberty from these onerous laws using what we call these islands of freedom, whether it be the Christian Medical Sharing Ministries or homeschooling. So praise God, there is something of exemption for Christians, There are what we call cultural islands of freedom where we can exempt ourselves from the systems.
