How can we glorify God in the home?

Pooyan Mershahi explains in this video that we must be willing to obey God's words and His ways. Anything that does not glorify God shouldn't be brought into our lives. Anything that does not magnify or honor Christ in our homes or individual lives ought not to be allowed.

Any kind of spiritual leaven must be cast out of our homes. We must teach our children from Scripture. Everything that we teach our children should be based upon Scripture instead of being based on our opinions or desires. We must take time to pray and seek the Lord together. That is one way that we can stand firm in this world.

1 Corinthians 10:31 (NKJV) - "Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."

Are we willing to submit ourselves to God? Are we willing to obey God's ways and God's word specifically? Anything that does not glorify God must not be brought into our lives. That is one of the things that we must take heed to. Anything that does not magnify Christ, does not honor Christ in our homes, in our individual lives, ought not to be brought in, ought not to be allowed in our homes.

We must put out, we must not allow in the home anything that defiles. Any kind of spiritual leaven must be taken out, must be cast out of our homes and with open Bibles those things must be taught in the home. If children ask why we must not say because I tell you so but because the Lord tells us here in his word. These are the principles in the scriptures and we seek to glorify God together as a family. God means well for us.

We must privately and in the family take time then to pray together, to seek the Lord together. That is one way that we can stand firm in this anti-Christian world. The Lord answers prayer, friends. The Lord answers prayer concerning the trials, the temptations. The Lord knows our frame.

The Lord knows that we are dust. The Lord knows that we are not made up of perfect things but He has given us His perfect Spirit. He has given us His perfect Word. He has given us a wonderful gospel and the perfect blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
