How are we to prepare our children to face the LGBT movement?

Anthony Mathenia explains in this video that because the LGBT movement has progressed with so much speed, it is nearly impossible to completely shield our children from it.

Therefore, it is necessary for us as parents to teach our children what it is, that it is sin, but that God forgives sin. We can encourage our children to pray that God would change their hearts. It is important to teach our children that it is wrong but that there is a remedy for that sin that is found in Christ.

1 John 1:9 (NKJV) - "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Because the LGBT movement has picked up such speed with regard to the media's promotion of it, It is basically impossible for our kids not to come into contact with it. Therefore, it is necessary for us as parents to be teaching them what it is, what it means, how it is that it's wrong, that it is sin, but God forgives sinners and He saves them. So if it's people that are close, like family members or neighbors or friends, then it's an opportunity to teach the kids to be praying for God to change their hearts in order that their ways might be changed as well. But there's no way for us to protect our kids from seeing it outside of just locking them in the house and never letting them go out. But even then, The media is doing such a good job of promoting it as normal, they're going to come into contact with it.

So it's necessary for us to discuss it with them, to make sure that they understand that it's wrong with regard to the Bible, but also that there is a remedy for it in Christ.
