What is an important doctrine that parents should teach their children about?

Paul Thompson explains in this video that that the doctrine of Christ as the eternal Son of God is a critical matter.

Fathers and mothers should be teaching their children that Christ has always existed. He wasn't ever created. He did not have a starting point.

Colossians 1:17 (NKJV) - "And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist."

The eternal existence of Jesus Christ is another important doctrine that we must be teaching in our homes and we must be preaching from our pulpits. We must be looking for conferences that will put the eternal existence of the Lord Jesus Christ as paramount in front of us. Fathers and mothers, I would encourage you to make sure that you're teaching your children that Jesus has always existed. He wasn't created of God. He didn't have a starting point in eternity past.

Put your children under the influence of this kind of teaching. For the glory of God, for the glory of Christ, may it be so.
