How was Christ submissive to the will of God?

Rob Ventura explains in this video that the submission of Christ to His Father is seen everywhere in Scripture. Christ comes as the servant of Jehovah. He comes willingly.  He submitted to the will of God. 

Christ came as a submissive servant of God to carry out God's plan of redemption. He did it perfectly. 

Matthew 4:3-4 (NKJV) - "Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, 'If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.' But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”

So the submission of Christ to his Father in the Incarnation is seen everywhere. Jesus says, the writer of Hebrews is quoting it, lo I come to do all that was written in me in God's book, quoting from the Old Testament passage. But Christ comes as the servant of Jehovah and he comes willingly submitting to the Father's will. And as you see Jesus all throughout the Gospels, he's saying, my food and my drink is to do the will of him who sent me. So he came again in submission to his father.

Of course he was in submission to his father while he was on earth, but when he went back to glory, we know at that point I would say to me that submission was not the same when he was on earth. Again, he comes to earth as the servant of the Lord, the submissive servant of the Lord to carry out that will, the covenant of redemption that the Father had made with the Son in eternity past. So he's coming again in submission. He's the second Adam. Where the first Adam failed, the second Adam now comes and he fully submits himself all to the will of God as our representative, as our federal head, again with a goal to accomplish our redemption.

And praise God he did it perfectly.
