How does Christ impact every aspect of our lives?

Rob Ventura explains in this video that the effect of Christ on his family and his church was significant. 

He was raised in a pagan home and had no idea what it meant to be a husband and a father. His wife was the same way -- they both came from unsaved homes. He learned that he needed to love his wife as Christ loved the church and to teach and lead his children. Christ touches every area of our lives. 

2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV) - "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new."

The effect of Jesus Christ on my family and the church, well for me again being raised in a pagan home and not knowing anything about being a father or a husband, my wife same thing both converted out of paganism. So the effect of my family has been just radical, of course, that I need to love my wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her. I need to raise my children the things of God. We need to have family worship and serve the Lord and keep the Lord's day and rejoice in God and love his day and praise his name. I mean the effect has been simply transformational and again people who knew me as a non-christian their heads are spinning once I got saved but the things about Christ and the thing about him is he touches every area of life and for families coming to the church, that's the second part of the question I've seen again.

People come in, families about to break up, a husband and wife about to divorce and then they hear the gospel and they get saved and Now their marriages are being reconciled and renewed and now the father who never cracked the Bible is sharing the word of God with his children every night. It's amazing. I've got story after story and to see these guys as we're walking down the aisle and whether passing out the Lord's Supper or taking a collection, I'm saying I remember when this guy was out in a far country and to see him now in the church just serving the Lord and serving their families and preaching the gospel, it's absolutely a mind-boggling. Boggling.
