Does Christ glorify us?

John Latham explains in this video that Christ glorifies sinners when after death, He raises us to be with him and our bodies will be glorified. 1 Corinthians 15 discusses this. 1 Corinthians 15 states that this inglorious body that gets sick and continues to be corrupted by sin won't be that way for eternity. It will be raised and glorified. We don't exactly know what that looks like, but we will be like Christ in some way. 

Even now, Christ is glorifying His people. Paul talks of this in Romans 8 when he talks of Christ glorifying us. Even now, He is preparing us for that day when He will bring us into His glory.  

Philippians 3:20-21 (NKJV) - "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself."

Ultimately Christ glorifies sinners when after death we are raised to be with Him and even our bodies will be raised to be glorified. 1 Corinthians 15 speaks of that, that the body will be sown perishable but raised imperishable, be sown and dishonor raised and honor this inglorious body that gets sick and ultimately dies, this body that is still corrupted by sin won't be that way for eternity but it will be raised and it will be glorified. We don't know, John says, exactly what that looks like but we will be like Christ in some way when He glorifies sinners in His presence in eternity. But even now Christ is glorifying His people. The apostle Paul can speak of glory in Romans 8 when he speaks of God having not only chosen us and predestined us and justified us.

He also speaks in the past tense of God having glorified us. And again it's a veiled glory because again we're trapped in these bodies we still started with sin with with a myriad of problems and difficulties, and yet still there is glory because of our union with Christ, because of the Holy Spirit in us. And even now, Christ is glorifying His people, purifying us, preparing us for that day when He will ultimately bring us into His glory, we will share in that glory.
