What does it mean that Christ is God's glory?

Paul Thompson explains in this video that Christ is God's glory. For us to see the glory of God, we would be consumed. Moses notes this and Isaiah acknowledges this. Peter falls like a dead man when he sees the glory of God. 

Christ is so kind that He would let us have relationship with Him. We should count it nothing but a great pleasure of this world and for all of eternity.  

Hebrews 1:1-3 (NKJV) - "God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high."

It's the sweetness of God that He would be the heir of all things. This text is a sweet, beautiful text to say that Jesus is God's glory. It is for us when we see this and to make note of this, for us to see the glory of God we would be consumed. Moses notes this, Isaiah acknowledges this, Peter even when he's in a boat with Jesus falls like a dead man when he sees the glory of God. But Jesus to be the glory of God gives us the kindness of God that he would let us have relationship with him.

That we would have relationship with Him. So in that kindness of God in this respect for Jesus and for us we would count it nothing but a great pleasure of this world and for all of eternity for him to be in this place.
