How do we see Christ in the Old Testament?

Paul Thompson explains in this video that we can see types, shadows, and representatives of Christ throughout the entire Old Testament. He is the one who will redeem the people. He is our great High Priest. 

For instance, in the book of Judges, there are people who have sinned against God, they repent, and then God sends a redeemer. In short, there are types, shadows, and representatives of Christ throughout Scripture. 

Hebrews 9:11 (NKJV) - "But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation."

God shows us Jesus all throughout the Old Testament. He does it through types. He does it through imagery, the temple. He does it through relationships. He does it with relationships that his servants have with him.

So we see Jesus all over the Old Testament. We see him as a priest. We see him as a savior. We see him as a judge. We see him as the one who will redeem the people.

Throughout the book of Judges we have a cyclical representation of a redeemer where a people have sinned against God. God brings them to a position of repentance. They repent and then God raises a Redeemer. So we have types, we have pictures, we have shadows, we have a representative of Christ all over the pages of Scripture. You
