Have you considered the humility of Christ?

John Snyder explains in this video that one aspect of the glory of Christ is His humility. We don't often emphasize His humility.

While it is a great privilege for us to pray to God, it is an act of humility on God's part. He stoops to notice us, but He delights to do so. It is a shocking reality.

Philippians 2:5-11 (NKJV) – “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

One aspect of the glory of Christ, the outshining of the hidden reality of His deity is His humility. When we read the scriptures, it's amazing to us to find is that as Christians we worship a God that among all of his perfections there is one that we don't often emphasize but it's there it's that he is also humble. The Bible tells us in the Psalms that God has to humble himself to behold the things that are in heaven as well as the things that are on earth. Every time the Father hears our prayer, every time he looks at an angel, every time he's involved with our lives, with our churches, our families, every time he allows us to draw near to him and walk in fellowship with Him. While it is a great privilege for us or for any angel in heaven, it is an act of humility on God's part.

He stoops to notice us, but He delights to do so, and that's a very shocking reality. You
