What does it mean that Christ is the "Bread of Life"?

Pooyan Mershahi explains in this video that we take bread and we eat it. We can’t just observe it or leave it. The bread that we eat gives us strength.

Similarly, Christ is our Bread of Life. When we meditate on Christ and rely upon Him, He causes to grow spiritually. He is our life. When we feed on Him, we shall never perish.

John 6:35 (NKJV) - "And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst."

So when the Lord Jesus Christ says, I am the bread of life, referring to himself as the bread, what should we do with bread? We should eat bread. We should take it and eat it. We cannot Simply leave the bread on the table and simply watch it. No, it must be taken.

So Jesus Christ when He says, I am the bread of life, He says we must feed on Him. We must take Him, we must feed on Him. We can't just observe Him, but take Him to our soul, Trust in Him. Live day by day looking unto Him. Meditating upon His Word.

And He is the One then He builds us in our lives. He causes us to grow in knowledge of Him. We can speak to Him. For He is our life. And what a wonderful thing it is that Jesus Christ is that bread of life.

And when we feed upon Him, we shall never perish. Thank you.
