What kinds of things should parents teach their children in the home?

Paul Thompson explains in this video that it is important that parents teach their children about the nature of God. We must not allow false, unbiblical teaching to influence our children. 

Fathers and mothers should faithfully open the Bible and teach their children about the nature of God -- that Jesus is God.

Ephesians 6:4 (NKJV) – “And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.” 

The doctrine of the pre-incarnate nature of Christ is really important. And it's important that we teach this in our homes. In my context, where I live in Idaho, among a people who don't believe that Jesus existed always as God. They believe that Jesus became a God. We must not allow this kind of teaching to influence our children.

So the best way for us to do this in our homes is that fathers and mothers, that you open up the Bible and you teach about the nature of God.
