Jason Dohm explains in this video that one reform that is needed today is an examination of our use of time. It is easy to be focused on our own lives and our own time.

Yet, God calls us to be servants of others and to use our time wisely. We all have the same amount of hours each day. How will we spend those hours? For ourselves or for God?

I think one of the big reforms that's needed in family life today is an examination of use of time. How are we using our time? We're in this society where we've become so individualistic that everyone is doing their own thing. But I think God has a view of family life that brings us together where there's sort of an evaluation of a corporate use of time, the family's use of time, the family's allocation of resources that needs to happen, where we're asking is this what glorifies the Lord? Is this what advances the kingdom of our great King?

And families should ask that about their time. Okay, so we're seven people in the dome home. I'm a dome. And there's seven people in our home. And so that is, you know, seven people times the hours of the day times times the days of the week.

How are those hours being used? Are we using them to love God through our lives corporately in our family life and are we advancing together the kingdom of our King?
