What is the biggest way that Christ is misaligned today?

Chris Law explains in this video that one of the greatest ways that Christ is misaligned is that there is such a heavy focus on his humanity. Sometimes, we can overemphasize his humanity, compassion, and love.

We do it at the expense that He is the God who possesses righteous anger and that He was the God who brought justice and will bring full justice. When miss who Christ is, we have wrongly fit Him in our own image. We must come back to that better understanding, that He is both love and He is also just.  

Psalm 145:20 (NKJV) – “The Lord preserves all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.” 

I think the greatest way that Christ is being maligned today is there is so much emphasis upon His humanity. And it's bringing Christ out of balance, for he is fully God and fully man and we emphasize so much of his humanity so much of his love so much of his compassion and while those things are true we do it to the expense of that he also had the righteous neighbor. He was the God who brought justice and will bring full justice to this earth. And so today, when we miss part of who Christ is, we're building a Christ of our own making, like trying to form an idol. And that's really what it has done.

We've created Christ in our own image, the image that we like. And we must, again, come back to that better understanding that He is grace and truth, that there is love but also justice in Christ.
