Why is it important to study the glory of Jesus Christ?

Sam Waldron encourages people to attend the upcoming national conference on the Glory of Jesus Christ because, as he explains, it is by beholding His glory that we are transformed from glory to glory. We grow in His grace and knowledge of Christ.

We become conformed to Him because, in the revelation of His glory, we become like Him as our minds meditate upon Him.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV) – “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

Because it's by beholding His glory that we are transformed from glory to glory. 2 Corinthians 3, 17 and 18. The means of our being made practically and increasingly and progressively holy is by an increasing understanding of who He is in His glory. We grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. And we grow in conformity to Him, and we are conformed to Him because in His, in the revelation of His glory, we become like Him.

We spend time in his glory, in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our minds meditate upon who he is, and so to speak, when we come down from that mountain, our faces glow like Moses did with the glory of the Son of God.
