How is Christ our "Good Shepherd?"

Cary Green explains in this video that Christ is our "Good Shepherd." He is our God-appointed shepherd to lead us in the right way. When we look at this analogy, if Christ is the shepherd, we are the sheep. Sheep are followers and they lack natural defenses.

The fact is that when God continually likens us like sheep, we should really take that analogy to heart. There is no better shepherd than Christ Himself. He truly is our “Good Shepherd”

Isaiah 40:11 (NKJV) – “He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those who are with young.”

He's the good shepherd. There is no better shepherd. There's no other shepherd that we would want. He is our God appointed shepherd to lead us the right way. One thing when we when we look at this analogy here, if he's the shepherd then we by nature are the sheep.

Sheep are by just by who they are how they've been made God made them they are followers They're inherently Not smart animals. They don't have any natural defenses in and of themselves. They have no claws. They don't have sharp teeth So the fact is that when He continually, when God continually, in both the Old Testament and New Testament, likens us like sheep, we should really take that analogy to heart. And so there is no better shepherd than Jesus Christ.

There's no better shepherd than God himself in the flesh and there's no shepherd that any of us should want more than him. And so he truly is the Good Shepherd. You
