What should be a key priority in our life?

Carlton McLeod explains in this video that fathers ought to practice repentance and to model it for our families. A father is not to be a tyrant, he is to be a servant. He might be the leader, but he should not be a tyrant.

Husbands and fathers must humbly lead their families. They must be willing to apologize and admit that they were wrong.

Philippians 2:3-4 (NKJV) - "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others."

I think the key reformation or the area in which we need to put our attention is to literally to maintain repentant hearts for our families. A father is not a tyrant. He's a servant. He might lead, but he's not a tyrant. And because we're sinners, our tendency is to take good principles too far.

I would love to continue to see, as we have seen in this last conference, on the fear of God, I would love to see this process of humble men leading humble families continue. I think if we do that, I mean there may be other things, we could talk about education, we could talk about modesty, we could talk about entrepreneurship and productivity and all those things, they're, amen, great. But If we lose this one, if we lose the heart of the Reformation, okay, we could be a sinful, wicked mess. May it never happen. You
