Rob Ventura explains in this video that we have strayed from what the Bible says as to how we should live our lives. Reformational living involves having Scripture be our guiding light. Churches must once again make the Gospel central. Everything else will fall into place once our foundation is set.
Isaiah 28:16 (NKJV) - "Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; Whoever believes will not act hastily."
When I meet broader evangelical Christians and they say, oh yeah, we all come out of the Protestant Reformation, maybe true enough historically speaking, But then you see what's going on in the church as far as altar calls and sinners prayers and fathers not leading and and wives Not submitting as unto the Lord and children not obeying just families and mess you say, you know, this is not biblical Protestantism This is not reformational living which simply stated as biblical living So to say, you know, how does the Protestant Reformation affect us today, we go back to the book. We hold up the solas. We hold up the centrality of God, the centrality of the gospel, and the centrality of the beauty and the love of Jesus Christ our Lord.
