What are the effects of reformation within the church?

Rob Ventura explains in this video that before a church undergoes reformation, altar calls, the sinner's prayer, the rock band, and the sermonette are all common aspects of the service. 

After a church is reformed, the focus of worship is God-centered instead of man-centered. There is expository preaching and a high view of the Lord's Day. Reformation can completely change the direction of the church and God gets all of the glory.

Revelation 4:11 (NKJV) – “You are worthy, O Lord,
To receive glory and honor and power;
For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.”

Well, we used to have altar calls, we used to have sinners' prayers, we used to have the rock band, we used to have the sermonette that was 25 minutes and the little ditties. And now we've got regative worship. Now we've got a high view of the Lord's day. Now we have expository preaching. Now we've got worship which is not man centered but it's Christ centered.

The whole thing just changes and turns around. Many things which we're seeing in our churches by the help and grace of God. God gets all the glory for this. We're not better than anyone else, but God has brought it to us.
