What is a key to reformation?

Gary Powers explains in this video that one of the keys to reformation involves the preaching of the Word of God. Often, in many churches today, the preaching occupies only a small part of the service or the content of the sermon is catered to what the congregation wants to hear. The preaching should be the focus of the sermon and the content should be based on the Word of God.

2 Timothy 4:2 (NKJV) – “Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.”

I think key reformations in the church that we need today are really centered around the preaching of the word. I think most churches you have an hour-long rock concert and then maybe 15 minutes of Time in the word. It's it's not expository preaching many times. It's it's something that's topical. It's You know how you can have your best life now, how you can be more successful today, how you can be, even good stuff, how you can be more successful in your business or with your family.

But I think gospel-centered preaching with a goal of seeing true conversions in the church. I think we've got churches filled with unconverted people today.
