What can we learn from David’s repentance from Scripture?

Rob Ventura explains in this video that there are lessons that we can learn from David’s repentance found in Scripture. David first says, “Restore unto me the joy of Your salvation.” There is forgiveness from God that we do not deserve.  

David continues and declares that he will teach others about the ways of God. After we have been forgiven much, we are to tell others about the ways of God. 

Psalm 51:12-14 (NKJV) – “Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You. Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.”

In Psalm 51 verses Psalm 32 we have David not repenting but then Psalm 51 you have him repenting, have mercy on me O God according to your unfailing mercies, wash me with hyssop and all that stuff and then David gets down to verse 12 13 and then what does he say he says restore unto me the joy of your salvation so let's be clear about repentance there ought to be forgiveness coming right after that after the guy's penitent before God and others and then he says then I will teach transgressors your way so once I've received that forgiveness afresh then David would go out and be the mouthpiece of God to tell others there's forgiveness with God that he might be feared you
