How should we approach the subject of reformation today?

Anthony Mathenia explains in this video that there is a great need for reformation today. The greatest reform that we need is to go back to Scripture. We must look to see what Scripture says about everything.

Families and individuals must go to the Scripture to see how God has prescribed that we live. How do we live in the church, home, and community? We must get back to the Scriptures and look only to the Scriptures with regard to how we will worship God and live our lives.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct[a] your paths.”

There is a huge need for reformation in our context and the greatest reform that we need is getting back to the Bible, looking to see what the Scriptures say, looking first at what they say about the institution, the only eternal institution that God has established with the local church. And then we, as local churches, began worshiping Him in a way that He's prescribed and functioning in a way that's pleasing to Him. As a result of that, the individuals and families that make up that local church also then go to the Scriptures to see how God has prescribed that we live before him as a family, as individuals, how we carry ourselves within the home and outside the home and in the community and in the workplace, in the society that he's called us to live. We must get back to the scriptures and look only to the scriptures with regard to how we're going to function, how we're going to carry ourselves, and especially how we're going to worship God.
