What do you bring to God when you are saved?

Carlton McLeod explains in this video that when He was saved, there was nothing that he brought to God except for his own iniquity. Salvation is something that completely apart from our own efforts. 

When God gives us faith to believe, we can truly understand how wicked we are in the sight of God. This oftentimes leads to a godly sorrow that leads to repentance in the life of a sinner. 

2 Corinthians 7:9 (NKJV) - "Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing." 

When Jesus saved me, that's the way I'll process the question, when Jesus saved me, He gave me faith to believe. Salvation is totally of God. I brought nothing to the table but my iniquity. When he gave me faith to believe, he also showed me at the same time how wicked I was. The relationship between faith and repentance is all of a sudden now as my heart turns to this holy God In faith, it also broke because of my iniquity.

They are partners in the process of salvation in my vernacular and are both required for one to be saved. Thank you.
