What is the effect of evolution upon our children?

Ken Ham explains in this video that the Bible makes it clear that it is our sin that brought death into the world. God is a holy God and He judges the wickedness of man. And yet, an evolutionist would directly oppose Scripture and claim that there are alternative reasons for death.

Despite our sin, God is long-suffering. We don’t deserve to exist, yet, God loves us so much that He died for us, rose again, and offers us salvation. But, young people have left the church because they have heard that evolution is true from a young age and see it conflict with the Bible. For them, it means that you can’t trust the Bible. Consequently, they doubt the Bible and ultimately walk away from the church.

Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV) - "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."

They don't even think about the fact that they believe in evolution, so evolution caused all this death and struggle. Evolution is responsible for all the diseases we see and starvation and children dying and so on. The Bible makes it very clear, no it's our sin that brought death into the world. I mean Romans 5 makes it very clear, 1 Corinthians 15 makes it very clear, Genesis makes it very clear, our sin brought death into the world and God is a holy God and he judges the wickedness of man and even the time of Noah 1 Peter 3 tells us that God was long suffering. I mean even in 2 Peter 3 we read about the long suffering of God not willing that any should perish And so they had plenty of warning, they were warned to repent of their wickedness.

Noah was a preacher of righteousness, but only eight people actually went on board that ark. You see, when you look at it from a biblical perspective and you take that history as it's written you get a whole different understanding of who we are What it means that we sinned against God that we committed high treason against the God of creation We don't even deserve to exist and yet God loves us so much. He stepped into history to die for us and to be raised from the gate and offers us a free gift of salvation. So what we found out was that these young people that have left the church are leaving because they hear all this teaching about millions of years and evolution and see it conflicting with the Bible and they can't equate a God or love with all the death and suffering that we see and for them it means you can't trust the Bible, they doubt the Bible and they're walking away from the church and It's a lack of teaching of apologetics in our churches that has really led to this.
