How are salvation and repentance related?

Rob Ventura explains in this video that Jesus Christ is a Savior of sinners. When a sinner, by God’s grace, sees His sin, that sinner is going to Christ by faith while turning His back on sin. They are always connected. You cannot do one without the other.

Paul preached repentance toward God and faith towards Christ. Without repentance, there was no salvation. Without repentance, there is no salvation. Peter also called people to repent. Their messages contain the need to both repent and believe in the gospel. 

Mark 1:15 (NKJV) - "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."

You can't have a sinner truly believing on the Lord Jesus Christ unless he's repenting. Jesus is the savior of sinners. So when a sinner, by God's grace, sees his undone-ness before God, sees his hell-deserving-ness before God, that sinner is going to Christ by faith while all the while turning his back on his sins so again those two are ultimately always connected You can't do one without the other. We repent towards God. And that's exactly what Paul said in Acts chapter 20, that he preached house to house repentance towards God.

God is the offended party as far as the object of repentance. God. We've sinned against God our creator our Redeemer. We've sinned against his holy law. So Paul says he preached repentance towards God, the offended party, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ, the only Savior of sinners.

No repentance, no salvation. Jesus preached Mark 1.15, the time has been fulfilled, the kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the gospel. John the Baptist preached repent for the kingdom of God is at hand. Paul preached repentance. Acts 2 of course Peter in the day of Pentecost repent they were pricked to the heart what shall we do to be saved repent and believe the gospel so without repentance there's no salvation.
