How can repentance salvation transform and heal a once-broken marriage?

Jason Dohm shares in this video a story of how salvation transformed an unsaved man that he knew and ultimately brought about a healing of a broken marriage. After his friend was born again, he spent a significant time among a Christian family. In time, he began to desire to be married again to his former, divorced wife.

He called her and realized that she had been praying that he would have a turn of heart and come back. He and his wife were soon remarried. They now have had multiple children together. All this resulted from him encountering Christ and repenting.

Ezekiel 36:26 (NKJV) - " I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."

One of the great things about the Christian life is the transformation that happens in real people's lives, real stories of real transformation and people never being the same again after encountering Jesus Christ and truly repenting and they change. One of those stories is from the life of a friend of mine who after being born again began hanging around a normal Christian family, meaning a functioning Christian family, a Christian family that was seeking the Lord, worshiping the Lord, conducting family worship in the evenings, And this man began observing that and desiring that. And he said to them one night, I am desiring to be married again. They said, married again? They didn't even know he'd been married the first time.

And he said, yes. Three years ago, I divorced. We had a daughter together, but she's in the Army. She's down in Texas, and they began to speak with this man just about the circumstances, and she was not remarried, and they said, brother, you should go and reclaim this woman if it's possible. And he called her and little did he know, he did not know that she had been praying that he would have a turn, a change of heart, and that he would come back.

And he actually flew from North Carolina down to Houston. They went to a Justice of the Peace. They got remarried. They've now had multiple children together. But it started because he encountered Jesus Christ and he truly repented and it did change his thinking in ways that did change his life and there are those stories all over the place.

It's wonderful.
