Where do we see repentance in the Old Testament?

Jason Dohm explains in this video that one illustrative passage about repentance is when Solomon stated: “[I]f My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14, NKJV). 

In the middle of the Old Testament, we have Solomon acknowledging that if a sinful people turned from their wicked ways, God would receive and forgive them. The same is true for us today. God does not change. Repentance is still commanded and God will punish sin. But, He is also gracious, merciful, and forgiving.  

Acts 3:19 (NKJV) - "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord."  

One phenomenal passage about repentance in the Old Testament is when Solomon dedicated the temple in 2 Chronicles chapter 7. This is 2 Chronicles chapter 7 verse 14 where Solomon says, If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and will turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." So here right in the middle of the Old Testament we have Solomon acknowledging that if people will cry out to God, turn from their wicked ways, that God will receive us and forgive us. You
